Eric Hart Assistant Director of Academic Services for Student-Athletes B.A. Elementary Education, Appalachian State University M.A. School Counseling, The University of Georgia Ed.S. Education, The University of Tennessee Eric enjoys running, weightlifting, golfing, reading, traveling, and spending time with his significant other, Erin. He is an uncle to a 15 month old nephew, Micah and an 8 month old neice, Kalani. He is very excited about watching them grow up and will play a big role in their development and future enrollment at Appalachian. This fall Eric will be teaching two freshman seminar courses and has a host of other professional responsibilities ongoing (throughout the semester).
Patrick Heise Area Coordinator, Residence Life M.A. College Student Services Administration, Oregon State University I enjoy camping, hiking, football, basketball, traveling, golf, carving, watching movies. I’m married to a wonderful woman and educator named Lisa. I have a 3 Â½ year old named Sydney and a 6 week old named Samuel. I am from Wisconsin and I consider the Green Bay Packers to be apart of my extended family.

Mandy Crainer Indian Trail, NC Major: Elementary Education I am a Wizard of Oz Fanatic...I love playing and watching sports...My summer plans are working for a company called Southern Staircase (I am an office assistant) and I also am lifeguarding and teaching swim lessons at Wesley Chapel Swim and Raquet. I love to read children's books...I love the outdoors...sunflowers...hmm, dogs are absolutely precious. :)
Jonathan Jackson Asheville, NC Major: Health Care Management I love to get out and try new things. In my free time I'm usually doing something with one of my many organizations including working on major projects with my Fraternity Alpha Phi Alpha or hanging out with my residents and being a Resident Assistant. Some of my favorite things to do are: Choreograph Step Shows, Community Service, Play Sports, hang out with friends, I love to Cook, and I love to try new things.
Leah Farias Huntersville, NC Majors: International Business and Spanish Hobbies and favorite things include travelling, knitting, playing with dogs, and always staying busy.
