I love hiking or picnicking on the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway, painting, grabbing lunch at Our Daily Bread, or listening to some of the great live music Boone has to offer!

I'm currently a doctoral student in Educational Leadership and the 09-10 academic year will mark my 15th year enrolled at ASU!

I enjoy spending time with my wife, daughter and son, watching good movies, and listening to music (mostly drum and bugle corps and 70's funk bands). I love a good cup of coffee and am into secret societies, symbols, metaphors and conspiracy theories.

I loved being at Appalachian so much as a student that I decided not to leave! I LOVE watching ASU athletics and think Saturdays in the Fall were made for tailgating and football! I enjoy living in the mountains and being outside as much as possible. I love to spend time with my friends, cooking out/eating out and simply enjoying life.
